I was the Fleet, UK Hub Master in 2019 before the pandemic reached around the world, and Pelikan have again chosen me post pandemic in 2022 to be the Hub Master once again.

When is the Pelikan Hub?
Friday 18th November 2022, usually from 6:30pm but we have organised a table from 5:45pm at our chosen venue to allow people to avoid rush hour traffic where possible.
Where will the Pelikan Hub be held?
We have a venue location and this has been communicated to all registered Hub Attendees.
Pelikan has asked Hub Masters to notify attendees by no later than 31st October, and we have smashed that! If you haven’t received your email and you did register, please email me at penultimatedave@gmail.com.
I forgot to register or missed registration for Pelikan Hub, can I still turn up?
Numbers will be tight, so if you haven’t registered already by end of August, please email me at penultimatedave@gmail.com to let me know that you would like to attend. Please note you will not be eligible for any free gifts from Pelikan on the day as Pelikan only send the hub master enough free gifts for pre-registered users.
Will Pelikan be providing free gifts?
Pelikan have announced sadly there will be no free Pelikan Edelstein Ink Of The Year for this year’s Hub attendees. They will be providing
1x paper pad made of high-quality paper
1x Pelikan Passion Magazine
The good news is that I am planning a free goody bag out of my own personal expense to try and help substitute the loss of the Pelikan ink, each goody bag will be of around £15 in value, so I hope everyone will like it, but I equally know that most come for the Pelikan ink. That said, there will be some ink! 😀
Can I bring a friend?
Yes you can, but please let me know at penultimatedave@gmail.com ahead of time as I have already finalised table numbers at a sit down restaurant, so I need to know exact numbers otherwise we won’t able to hold a table for the correct amount of people and the venue will become stressed if people are standing around blocking access to waiters and waitresses who are trying to serve other tables.
What do we do at a Pelikan Hub?
Pelikan Hub is a social get together of like minded pen enthusiasts, like a pen club, that come together for the evening for up to 3 hours and talk about pens, inks, notebooks and of course Pelikan's too!
What should/can I bring?
Firstly bring yourself, secondly anything you want to bring, whether it's fountain pens, ink, notepads, it's a fountain pen gathering. We do need to be careful not to make a mess though!
Can I only bring Pelikan Pens to a Pelikan Hub?
No, any pens are welcome, but the social event is organised world-wide by Pelikan to be held on 20th September.
Will anyone from Pelikan be attending?
No, nobody from Pelikan attends these events.
Will the event be free?
Yes the event will be free for anyone to attend!
Will there be free food or drinks?
Sadly no free food or drinks, but the Venue will have a menu and drinks which are available to purchase but you will need to purchase these yourself if you would like food or drink. Please ensure that you pay for what you order using our table number before you leave the Venue otherwise I will be chasing you to pay up after the event.
What if I can't make it now or don’t want to make it now there won’t be free Pelikan Edelstein ink?
That's okay, if you can drop me an email at penultimatedave@gmail.com and just let me know so we know how many will be attending. Unfortunately I won't be able to ship any of the free goodies if you don't attend on the day.
